John’s background involves significant experience and success in hospitality, travel, publishing and real estate. The common denominator to each of his ventures is an entrepreneurial ability to identify value-add opportunities, to relentlessly execute predetermined business plans and in the process, building lifelong relationships.

John is a past chapter President and International board member of Entrepreneurs Organization (“EO”). As international Membership Chair he expanded EO beyond North America to include developing chapters in Hong Kong, Tokyo, Bangkok,  Manilla, Sydney and Melbourne. 

In 2000, John founded 20/20 Group, which under his direction as C.E.O., grew to over $1.2B  of in-house developed and managed condominium and resort projects which were sold to homeowners and investors. Leveraged returns under John’s “virtual apartment building” investment program averaged 26%/ annum. Heavy exposure to a $250m U.S.D. institutional portfolio in 2008 led to the wind up of 20/20. 

In 2015, John was recruited by Mike Drever, his long-time friend and EO Forum partner to consult on building the real estate arm of Performing Equity.

John has a network of global connections and cherishes living in Vancouver, BC, with his family of 5.
