While some small-towns face challenges, such as limited job opportunities and potentially longer commutes We chose these communities for their proximity.  Shawnigan is 15 mins from Langford BC, just outside of Victoria and one of the fastest growing cities in BC.  Sechelt is a 40 minute commute to Vancouver and the major trading centre for the Sunshine Coast.  With some of the best fiber optic network connection it is considered to be the work from home capital.  These factors create the balance people are seeking with a close-knit community and relaxed lifestyle these smaller towns have to offer.
